Bjarne Bare is a Oslo based photographer and gallerist currently running MELK gallery for emerging Scandinavian photography in Oslo and taking part at the BA of Fine Art course at the Academy of Fine Art Oslo. Bare focuses on the voyeuristic aspects of modern life and has based most of his work on travels to cities like Tokyo, Buenos Aires, Cairo and Los Angeles. Capturing modern solitude in urban societies making use of photography as his main medium. His works have been shown in Buenos Aires, Amsterdam, San Francisco and Oslo and published in Carls Cars magazine, Dazed and Confused and Unpublished magazine.
