Photographer Evan Joseph trained in fine art at Vassar College and the Slade School of Art in London then received his Master’s from the Interactive Telecommunications Program at New York University before jumping into helicopters and styling caviar to get the perfect shot as a leading luxury lifestyle photographer in New York City.
Specializing in interiors, architecture and the street scenes which support the properties he shoots, Evan Joseph’s work has been featured in Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, US Weekly, The New York Times, New York Magazine, HOME Magazine, Caviar Affair, Remodeling & Renovations, New York Living and has been selected as the cover of The New York Times Homes Magazine fourteen times.
Before starting his photography studio, Evan was the director of three high-profile art galleries, a founder of Art Collector Magazine, and a founder and Creative Director of HIPnTASTY Inc. He has been a faculty member of The Parsons School of Design and the Art Institute of New York.
Evan has photographed many distinguished residences around the world including the homes of Sting and Trudie Styler (published in Architectural Digest), Lenny Kravitz, Julian Schnabel, Rupert Murdoch, Naomi Campbell, Harry Belafonte and Betsey Johnson. Clients include: The Setai, The W Hotels, The Ritz Carlton, The Trump Organization, The Russian Tea Room, Manhattan House, The Kips Bay Decorator Show Home, The Lucida, The Georgica, The Laurel, The Laureate, The Rushmore, The Aldyn, 75 Wall Street, 11 Times Square and numerous other luxury residential developments and commercial skyscrapers.
In the few hours each week when Evan is not taking pictures for his clients, he can be found at home with his wife, pug dog and two children, his camera clicking away just for fun.
